Kitsch's accent was spot on! I thorougly enjoyed him. Not his looks but his ability to transform from playful card dealer to deadly weapon...even though Wolverine knocked him for a loop. Gambit. Ever. I wish he would have at least committed to a Cajun accent throughout WOLVERINE: ORIGINS. Maybe he just forgot. Either way, terrible casting, as any Marvel Comics fan would agree - Gambit is a smooth-operating, lithe, tall, dark and handsome charmer who'll steal your wallet or maybe blow it up in your pocket, whatever fits the con better. Unpredictable is the word, not stiff, as was the case here. I guess it wasn't his fault that they dressed him like Willy Wonka though. Either way, maddeningly disappointing.
