He's poking fun at a lame sterotype, but it had to come from somewhere. Its entertaining. Ever watch that scene in crash where Terrence Howard is conflicted about making that kid say his lines with a little more flavor? Same shit, but true. It sells. Plus, they were funny, AND got more screen time then the white people. BOOYAH! Hell the voice actors are black, and I bet they are claiming Bay is awesome for the voice time. And finally. What movie put bay on the map? Not Pearl Harbor, but BAD BOYS! I rest my case.
