Whether you love or hate "Weird Al" Yankovic, you gotta hand it to the guy. He's been doing his thing for more than 30 years now, and on June 21st he'll be doing it all over again.

Today, he announced his album Alpocalypse, his first album in 5 years. The disc will be released via Jive Records.

Probably named after our impending world collapse in 2012 at the hands of those feisty ancient Mayans, the album features the crazy ridiculous artwork atop this post.

It should also feature Perform This Way, Al's witty Lady Gaga parody that was the subject of controversy a few days ago.

Not much other information was released about the album, like a track list of the other parody and original songs, which is probably a good thing. Part of the fun of Weird Al albums is the unexpected funny stuff.

Stay tuned for more info about Alpocalypse as it is released.

Oh, and here's both a teaser for the album and the song Perform This Way so you can get a taste of things to come:
